My name is Aleah Davis, and I am from Chattanooga, TN. I am the oldest of 5 siblings and have spent most of my life in East Ridge, which is a small town outside of Chattanooga on the Tennessee/Georgia state line. My academic interests are mainly focused in the sciences, but I also have a lot of interest in politics and history. Biology is my primary interest and has been since I was little. Outside of academics, I have spent many weekends and summers working on community projects, hiking up mountains, or camping in the woods. I have a very strong passion for community service, civic engagement, and sustainability. I also love art, film, and all things music.

Throughout my life, I have been surrounded by diverse people and thinkers that have taught me to think of problems on a broader scale and more interpersonal level. Through this, I acquired the belief that anyone can make a difference no matter how small of an impact that they think they make. As I continue through college and life, I hope to one day use these views and beliefs to help others and make a difference by pursuing a career in the medical field or political sphere.
